　　Many goods including daily necessities are being transported to other countries over a long distance thanks to the booming of the international trade. I think although this trend brings some benefits in terms of employment and economy, the drawbacks are more obvious because of the risks involved and the adverse effects posed to both the exporting and importing countries.

　　Many countries are export-orientated. By that I mean exportation has remained the backbone of its economy, providing jobs for a huge portion of its population and making a great deal of hard currency. China might be a good case in point. It is unimaginable what China' s national economy would be like if it does otherwise.

　　However, along with its importance in sustaining economy come the potential threats, the most serious of which might be that the economy of the exporting countries may be influenced by the fluctuating exchange rate and the unpredictable situation of the importing countries. For example, many exporting companies in China are suffering heavily due to the appreciation of RMB. There are also some other disadvantages in transporting goods, such as daily necessities, to other countries over a long distance. For example, it would not be helpful for the development of the similar industries of the importing countries because they may rely solely on the outside supplies. It has already happened in many countries. Another drawback of this practice is that some goods, such as vegetables, might be not as fresh when they reach the destination due to the long distance and the price might be much higher as a result of the transport expenses.

　　International trade will definitely play a significant role in many countries.However, how to overcome the drawbacks resulting from it remains a tough task for the people concerned.
