　　Throughout my life I have been lucky to have a good relationship with my parents. They have supported me,given me necessary criticism, and taught me a great deal about how to live my life. 　　Parents may be too close to their children emotionally. Sometimes they can only see their children through the eyes of a protector. They may limit their children' s freedom in the name of safety. For example, many Chinese people prefer to have an extended family with several generations under one roof. Most youngsters, however, think it unacceptable because they prioritise freedom and independence in their life.The importance of parents as teachers can never be denied.
